If you haven't heard about it, get yourself over to www.goodsearch.com. Finally, something good has come out of the internet.

The good folks at www.goodsearch.com have decided to donate half of their profits earned from advertising revenue to any, and I mean ANY, charity of your choice that has registered with them. They have over 27,000 charities currently registered.

For every search that you do on their site--and this isn't some C-rated search engine; they're powered by Yahoo!-- www.goodsearch.com will donate a penny to your designated organization.

So 100 searches in a day = 1$ for your organization. If you have multiple people doing multiple searches, that's more money in the pocket of your favorite charity.

I support the Haitian Timoun Foundation (Littleton, CO) when I'm at home, and MOSAIC-Supporting People with Disabilities when I'm at work. I'll be fair and flip-flop them as the time comes.

If you're like me, you're constantly scouring the net, and looking for any useless or useful piece of information to fill out the random thoughts that pop into your head. Now you can search and donate at the same time. I hope www.goodsearch.com stays up for a long time. I'd like to see how this will impact the world. It might not end up being much, but a little is more than nothing.
